Dr. Janel Gracia was born in Riverside, CA and grew up in Bloomington, CA. She grew up in an underserved community and often witnessed the lack of access to care and various socioeconomic factors that affect one’s health. She felt her biggest contribution to helping those individuals was through medicine. Dr. Gracia ultimately decided to pursue family medicine as she enjoys the full spectrum of patient care and the ability to take care of every member of the family. She went on to receive her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from UC Riverside and later received her medical degree from UC Riverside School of Medicine. Dr. Gracia also served as Chief Resident at the Adventist Health White Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program. Over the years she has been involved in various student run free clinics in her hometown and has also been able to volunteer at community high schools/colleges to speak about her path to medicine.
In her off time, you can find her cooking, baking, and spending time with her friends and family.
