Edward Castro, M.D.
For Dr. Castro, believes being a physician means not only having medical knowledge but also being compassionate. Raised in El Sereno, a community in northeast Los Angeles, he attended public high school there and then went on to Stanford University for his undergraduate degree. He received his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego. After completing his family practice residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago , Dr. Castro worked for two years on an Apache reservation in Arizona . He finally returned home to his community in 1988, where he has remained happily settled. Dr. Castro is board-certified in family medicine, and keeps up with ongoing medical education and advances in order to provide the best medical care for his patients. Dr. Castro strives to always listen to his patients and to answer their questions in ways they can understand.
Claire Koga, M.D.
Dr. Koga has been in practice at White Memorial Medical Center for more than ten years. She grew up in Southern California , then attended Stanford University and USC School of Medicine. She is board certified in Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Koga has been a clinical assistant professor of family medicine at USC since 1985.
Irma Warnecke-Hurtado, M.D.
Dr. Hurtado-Warnecke was born, raised and educated in Mexico ; she received her medical degree from the Michoacan University of San Nicolas of Hidalgo . She completed her internship and residency training at the University Hospital for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York . Dr. Hurtado-Warnecke is Board Certified and is currently serving as a preceptor for the Family Practice Residency Program at White Memorial Medical Center . Being a career mother while raising a family of three has given her special insight into family medical care. Her special interest is Women's health and pediatrics. She enjoys and values her limited spare time with her family.
