Our board-certified physicians specialize in family medicine,
including prenatal care, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, women's health,
adult medicine, geriatric medicine, surgical services, physicals, sports medicine,
preventive care, counseling and general medical care. They are fluent in both English
and Spanish and are comfortable translating technical medical terms into
everyday language you can understand.
In addition to providing high quality medical care to the community, Family Care Specialists
is actively involved in medical education. Many of the physicians and physician assistants are faculty
members of the White Memorial Medical Center Family Practice Residency Program, and the Family
Health Center serves as the outpatient center for part of the residents' education.
This means that a resident physician may attend to your medical needs, either as part of an unscheduled
visit or with an appointment. All the residents have successfully completed medical school and all national
exams needed to receive their medical degree. They are in their first, second, or third year of Family Practice
training and are always supervised by attending physicians in the clinic. The job of the supervising attending
physician is to teach the residents and to make sure that the patient is getting the appropriate medical care
that they need and deserve.
Family Care Specialists is dedicated to improving the health of the community-by providing high quality medical
care and by training young physicians to do the same.
